Job summary

Edwards Construction Group in California seeks a highly organized Project Engineer to support the delivery of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, clients, architects, and engineers to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The ideal candidate will understand construction processes, be detail-oriented, and eager to take on ownership and growing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, plans, specs, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Procore experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in planning, coordination, and execution of projects.
• Coordinate and distribute contract documents, drawings, specs, addenda, and revisions.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, transmittals, change orders, and other deliverables.
• Assist with budgets, schedules of values, cost tracking, and billing documentation.
• Process subcontractor documents, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders in Procore.
• Support scheduling, sequencing, and monitoring progress to meet quality, schedule, and safety goals.
