Horizon Construction Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate information flow, drawings, schedules, budgets, and closeout documentation while collaborating with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure scope, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating.
• Proficiency with construction/project management software (Procore preferred) and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning by reviewing requirements/specifications and coordinating schedules.
• Help manage construction drawings, document control, and permitting workflows.
• Assist with bid solicitation, scope review, and contract document preparation.
• Monitor project schedules and support quality walks/inspections to meet project standards.
• Attend and document project start-up, subcontractor, owner, and progress meetings.
