Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Project Engineer to join our northern Minnesota operations. This role manages geotechnical, special inspection, and construction materials testing projects with leadership responsibilities and client relationship oversight.

We offer relocation assistance and a path to ownership through ESOP, along with a competitive compensation package and opportunities to mentor staff. A PE license in MN or the ability to obtain it within 6–12 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering required.
• Master's degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering optional.
• Three or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experience.
• Professional Engineer registration/licensure in MN, or ability to attain within 6 to 12 months.

• Provide leadership of a technical or project related team.
• Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.
• Develop and execute full scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions.
• Manage projects across scope, schedule and budget.
• Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards.
• Mentor junior level engineering staff.
• Understand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policies.

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our northern Minnesota operations. This position manages moderate to highly complex geotechnical, special inspection, and construction materials testing projects by providing the technical expertise required to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering required
• Master's degree (MS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering optional
• Three or more years of geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing project management experience
• Experience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading a team preferred
• Professional Engineer registration/licensure in MN, or ability to attain within 6 to 12 months
• Ability to lift up to 50 to 75 pounds on a periodic basis
