HV Talent Group is helping a well‑established commercial contractor fill a Project Engineer role in the Fort Myers market. The candidate will support controls, documentation, procurement tracking, RFIs, submittals, inspections, punch lists, and closeout activities on a luxury residential project.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 1–4 years of experience in commercial construction projects or internships.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar construction management software is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

• Help prepare closeout packages, warranty documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, and turnover records.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and inspectors to resolve project issues.
• Monitor project progress and communicate updates to project leadership.
• Maintain accurate records while ensuring timely follow‑up on project action items.

Position Overview

The Project Engineer will support project controls, document management, procurement tracking, RFIs, submittals, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities. Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience supporting commercial construction projects or completion of a relevant internship or co‑op program.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced construction environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar construction management software is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
