Engtal in Columbus is seeking a motivated individual to join our nationally recognized contracting team as an Assistant Project Manager. You will work alongside seasoned Project Managers and leaders to gain exposure to the full project lifecycle and own broader responsibilities as projects move quickly.

This role emphasizes collaboration between office and field teams, with a clear path toward promotion and regular reviews.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Internship experience or up to 3 years of commercial construction experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work closely with both office and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams.
• Support project budgets, cost forecasting, scheduling, and procurement.
• Participate in estimating, value engineering, and subcontractor buyout.
• Build relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners.
• Assist projects from preconstruction through closeout.
