Job summary

Spyder Construction in Littleton, CO is seeking a Project Engineer to work directly with a Project Director, handling estimating, admin, and field support to keep high‑value projects moving without gaps.

This is a full‑time, in-office role, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional site walks as needed.

Pay range is $90k to $125k per year, plus life, health, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) with a 4% match.

Qualifications

• General construction knowledge and ability to read plans.
• Accurate scope letters, CSIs, and proposals.
• Strong organizational systems for multiple projects.
• Good judgment on urgent vs. delay around bid deadlines.
• Methodical fast learner who follows directions first time.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain job folders, subfolder quotes, and plan sets.
• Build CSIs from estimates and keep budgets, billing requests, and change orders current.
• Draft near-final proposals with grammar, layout, inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions.
• Manage new job intake, communication plans, and production setup.
• Walk sites, manage sub lists and bid invites, and run reviews as the role matures.
