Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western seeks a Project Engineer I for a multi-billion dollar campus project in downtown Nashville, TN. The role emphasizes document control, coordination with trade partners, QA/QC checks, and cost/schedule analysis to support project success.

Based in Nashville, you will assist the project team, track progress, and contribute to safety culture and site operations while growing in a large, family-owned company with strong local presence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in construction project environments.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience can include internships, co-ops, or prior employment.
• Computer skills required, including Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, P6, Procore, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Document control (drawing revisions, RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.).
• Assist and support the project team with daily coordination Procurement and expediting of construction materials.
• Front line Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks and monitoring Mock-up coordination and reviews.
• Coordination of trade partners.
• Production tracking of trade partners and self-perform crews.
• Project photography and other documentation for progress reporting.
• Manage construction equipment logs with the Superintendent(s).
• Participate in safety management and culture development.
• Cost estimating and schedule analysis for change orders.
• Project site inspections and checklist completion.
