Job summary

TLC Electronics, Inc. is seeking an engineer to manage complex projects from concept through completion and to assist with design, tooling, prototypes, and validation. The role includes supporting customers, preparing manufacturability documents, and collaborating with suppliers to specify components.

You will review ECO requests, update ERP, and contribute to pre-sales discussions while ensuring manufacturability and accuracy of cost estimates for new opportunities.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering, technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with drafting software such as AutoCAD Fusion or Visio.
• Strong background in assembly processes and manufacturing flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple complex projects from inception to completion.
• Communicate barriers of project development; lead time, technical issues, tooling/equipment to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Create supporting documents for manufacturability of product; product specifications, quality plans, work instructions.
• Validate manufacturing process and labor standards for new products.
• Assist with tooling and fixture design and creation.
• Assist with building prototypes, QRM builds, and testing of engineering products.
• Assist customer as a technical resource; aid in bringing ideas to producible products.
• Review ECO requests and update documentation and ERP with requested changes.
• Participate in pre-sales technical discussions with customers; provide component cross options.
