Job Summary

This role involves being the technical source of information for the project, with thorough knowledge of construction documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders. Responsibilities include responding to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders, maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders, and potentially assisting with supervision and training of Field Engineers. The position has three levels: Step I (entry), Step II (3 years experience or larger projects), and Senior (more than 6 years or larger projects).

Key Responsibilities

• Understanding of project management components and change management processes.
• Developing procurement schedules, coordinating submittals, and reviewing for compliance.
• Understanding contracts, budgets, and controlling costs.
• Maintaining 'As-built' documents and close-out requirements.
• Participating in form design, takeoffs, and project team supervision.
• Preparing reports, meeting minutes, and change orders.
• Mitigating claims and resolving issues proactively.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent experience, plus 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with team management abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to wear PPE and perform physical tasks such as reaching, stooping, lifting, and climbing.

Safety Level

Safety-Sensitive role, involving tasks that could impact safety and health.
