Job summary

Rising Edge Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects across North America. You will assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets under the guidance of the Project Manager, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engineering and 1–3 years of PM-like experience within construction or engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in project engineering or similar role within construction or engineering.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Review drawings and specs for compliance with requirements and standards.
• Maintain project documentation (plans, specs, shop drawings, RFIs, submittals).
• Monitor progress and provide updates to Project Manager.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support procurement by preparing RFPs and evaluating bids.
• Communicate within the project team and document decisions and changes.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure safety and quality.
• Prepare project reports, presentations, and final deliverables.
• Contribute to project close-out and lessons learned.
