Role Responsibilities

1. Lead due diligence investigations and design/engineering analyses of retail, commercial, industrial, and residential site layouts.
2. Review municipal zoning and land development ordinances and agency regulations.
3. Prepare Site Investigation and Due Diligence Reports, including ordinance reviews, utility research, and site visits.
4. Develop Conceptual Site Plans, Preliminary Grading Plans, and Design.
5. Design Stormwater Management, Utility Systems, and Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Plans.
6. Estimate construction costs, prepare project proposals, and manage budgets.
7. Coordinate projects with clients and team members for comprehensive site plan applications.
8. Prepare technical reports and correspondence for agencies, clients, and contractors.
9. Present to planning and zoning boards, municipal agencies, and project teams.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. 3+ years’ experience in Civil Site Engineering, including design and permitting.
3. Engineer-In-Training (EIT) and Professional Engineer (PE) licenses required.
4. Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology and hydraulic software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Knowledge of planning, zoning, stormwater design, and regulatory processes.
7. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
8. Experience in client management and working with regulatory agencies.
