Job summary

Lusardi Construction seeks a Project Engineer to learn and grow in a hands-on role in Dublin, CA. You will read blueprints, understand trades, and participate in bid processes, RFIs, submittals, estimating, change orders, and team collaboration.

You will gain experience across documentation, schedules, cost reporting, and field coordination while working in a family-friendly, merit-based environment with competitive pay and an on-site fitness center.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree completed or in progress, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency or basic understanding of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc).
• Procore and Bluebeam experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs.
• Prepare document distributions to subcontractors.
• Assist with maintenance and updating of project schedules.
• Assist with determining weekly labor production quantities.
• Assist with processing submittals.
• Assist with processing RFI’s.
• Maintain RFI logs.
• Input data for labor cost reports and field quantity surveys.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Job description

A Project Engineer (PE) will learn to read blueprints, understand the trades and the boundaries of each trade, learn how things are built, and experience the bid process. As a PE, you will learn about RFI's, submittals, estimating (quantity takeoffs and pricing), change orders, and the relationships between the entire project team.

This position is located in our Dublin, CA office.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The pay range for this position of employment is expected to be between $83,200 and $91,000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
