Job summary

Halo Technical Solutions Global is seeking a Project Engineer - 1 to support QA/QC and commissioning for large industrial construction projects with a strong electrical scope in Sullivan, IN. You will manage project documentation, ensure accuracy, and support readiness efforts across all phases.

Ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience, a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field, and experience with document control and project platforms.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience supporting document control processes on construction or commissioning projects.
• Familiarity with construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawings, specifications).
• Experience using document management or project management platforms.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized project documentation including drawings, RFIs, submittals, and submittals.
• Ensure all stakeholders use current approved document versions.
• Upload, track, and manage documentation within project platforms (Cx Alloy, ACC).
• Review incoming documents for completeness, formatting accuracy, and compliance.
• Identify discrepancies such as outdated drawings or missing attachments.
• Maintain tracking logs for submittals, RFIs, drawings, QA/QC checklists, and turnover items.
• Generate routine status reports and monitor deadlines.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to obtain missing documents.
