Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Civil/Structural/Ocean engineer early in career to perform field inspection and evaluation of structures under the direction of a more senior engineer, and to conduct material testing and report results.

You will participate in project meetings, prepare design documents, and promote safe work practices, with travel up to 50% and irregular schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in civil, structural, or ocean engineering from an accredited four-year university.
• 0–4 years of engineering experience.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• ADCI Commercial Diver or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Technical knowledge in area of practice.
• Proficiency in computer-assisted engineering and office software.
