Marine Solutions Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Diver located in Rosedale, Maryland. This role entails various engineering duties including field inspections, material testing, and technical document preparation. The successful candidate should possess technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, and they may require up to 50% travel to project sites.
With an annual compensation range of $77,000 to $89,000 based on experience and education, the position provides several benefits including health insurance and 401(k) matching.
The Project Engineer Diver position performs a variety of engineering duties including field inspection, material testing, evaluation, analysis, design, and technical document preparation under the direction of a higher-level engineer. To fulfill these obligations, Project Engineer Divers must be able to conduct assigned engineering work in compliance with applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and internal procedures and standards.
This position could require up to 50% travel to project sites. Candidates should expect irregular schedules based on project demands, including early mornings, occasional weekends, and overnight travel.
The duties of this position require the employee to regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. This position may require the employee to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While in the field, the employee may be required to walk in rugged conditions, work in adverse weather conditions, and stand up to eight hours or more at a time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the required duties of this position.
This position requires maintaining current industry knowledge and expertise through active involvement in professional organizations and/or other activities that may require additional and/or flexible working hours. The ability and availability to readily work overtime and perform duties outside of normal working hours may be required to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
