Job summary

LANXESS Corporation seeks a Project Engineer to manage small- to medium-sized capital projects at the Charleston Plant. You will oversee concept development, detailed design, procurement, construction oversight, commissioning, startup, and turnover while leading diverse engineering teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong project management experience in manufacturing/chemical environments.
• Experience leading multi-discipline project teams and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital project scopes from concept to startup and turnover.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction oversight, commissioning and training.
• Ensure HSE, schedule, cost, quality and documentation compliance.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Support reliability and maintenance initiatives with project input.
