Job summary

TETRA Technologies, Inc. is a global energy services and solutions company focused on environmentally conscious services. This role seeks a seasoned Process Engineer to develop PFDs, energy/material balances, and CAD-based line drawings for field-based projects.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of process/project experience, a BS in Engineering, and willingness to travel up to 50% to support commissioning, startup, and optimization across facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop PFD drawings and material/energy balances for new or existing operations.
• Capable of using CAD programs to build or modify line drawings.
• Support commissioning, startup, performance testing, and troubleshooting of treatment facilities.
• Provide training that will aid in developing others on process improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Sales and related teams to understand scope and provide guidance.

• Serve as the primary technical interface between TETRA, EPC contractors, OEM equipment suppliers, and clients.
• Review and approve vendor data, engineering deliverables, equipment specifications, and fabrication documentation.
• Ensure OEM equipment packages are integrated into the overall facility design.Develops new and existing processes for TETRA from concept to the finished operating process within TETRA’s Operations
• Review startup procedures, operating philosophies, and performance verification plans.
• Support commissioning, startup, performance testing, and troubleshooting of treatment facilities.
• Provide technical support during facility startup and operational optimization.
• Works with R&D, Operations, Sales and all related teams to fully understand scope and to provide both guidance and expertise as needed for new and existing products

• Capable of developing PFD drawing and producing material and energy balances for all new or existing Operations
• Capable of using CAD programs to build or modify line drawings
• Capable of performing complex chemical engineering calculations
• Good communication skills are a must including capability of writing EOD and solid presentation skills
• Provide training that will aid in developing others on process improvements
• Becomes a team player working along all levels of TETRA’s Organization

Requirements:

• EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• EXPERIENCE: 10+ years of active process/project experience
