Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Project Engineer at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ to provide technical and administrative coordination in support of a government demilitarization portfolio. The role involves drafting project plans, schedules, and data sheets, coordinating workflows, and consolidating input from stakeholders for briefing materials and status packages.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering and 5–8 years of relevant experience, plus a Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Industrial) or related physical science.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in project engineering or ammunition lifecycle logistics.
• Secret Security Clearance (or favorable eligibility) and U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and organizing project plans, integrated schedules, and technical data sheets for demilitarization initiatives.
• Support coordination of project workflows and track completion of technical action items across task groups.
• Consolidate technical input from stakeholders to help government engineers prepare briefing materials and status packages.
• Perform technical data entry, DEMIL stockpile analysis, and coordinate RDTE programs with organic depots.
• Compile and format technical feedback, engineering drawings, and test data for government review.
• Provide administrative and technical coordination support for IPTs, Joint Demilitarization Program Reviews, and safety working groups.
• Prepare meeting agendas, track action items, distribute minutes, and compile presentation slides as directed by government leads.
