Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Project Engineer in the Defense Sector at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. You will provide technical and administrative coordination for demilitarization project portfolios and coordinate IPTs, program reviews, and safety groups.

Responsibilities include drafting project plans, tracking action items, consolidating input for briefing materials, and preparing slides for program leads. A BS in engineering and 5–8 years' related experience are required alongside US citizenship.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Industrial) or related physical science.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in project engineering, ammunition lifecycle logistics, or energetic material handling support.
• Secret Security Clearance (or favorable eligibility determination).
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Familiarity with demilitarization technologies and operations is a plus.

• Perform technical data entry, DEMIL stockpile analysis, and coordinate RDTE programs with organic depots.
• Compile and format technical feedback, engineering drawings, and test data for government review.
• Provide administrative and technical coordination support for Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Joint Demilitarization Program Reviews, and safety working groups.
• Prepare meeting agendas, track action items, distribute meeting minutes, and compile presentation slides as directed by government program leads.

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in project engineering, ammunition lifecycle logistics, or energetic material handling support.
• Secret Security Clearance (or favorable eligibility determination).
• US Citizenship required.

• Familiarity with demilitarization technologies and operations a plus.

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
