Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Project Engineer at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ to provide technical and administrative coordination for a portfolio of demilitarization projects. The role requires drafting project plans, organizing schedules, and consolidating input from multiple stakeholders to support government engineers.

The candidate should have a BS in engineering and 5–8 years of relevant experience, and US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Industrial) or related physical science.
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in project engineering or related fields.
U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Assist in drafting and organizing project plans, integrated schedules, and technical data sheets for demilitarization initiatives.
Coordinate project workflows and track completion of technical actions across task groups.
Consolidate technical input to prepare briefing materials and project status packages for government engineers.
Perform technical data entry, DEMIL stockpile analysis, and coordinate RDTE programs with organic depots.
Compile and format engineering drawings and test data for government review.
Provide admin and technical coordination support for IPTs, program reviews, and safety groups.
Prepare meeting agendas, track actions, distribute minutes, and assemble presentation slides.
