Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company in Ohio is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee engineering projects in the CZ Crystal Growing Department, including crystal growth, cropping, slicing, slug prep, and testing. You will drive projects from concept to delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget performance and adherence to engineering standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
10+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment operations.
Experience with CZ crystal growth, ingot processing and testing.
Willingness to travel internationally for supplier collaboration.
Strong attention to detail and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Create detailed project plans with scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
Coordinate design and implementation teams to meet requirements and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
Manage project budgets and monitor expenses to meet financial targets; schedule and monitor tasks.
Ensure all activities meet industry standards, safety regulations and quality guidelines through inspections and documentation.
Provide engineering expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle; troubleshoot issues.
