Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company is seeking a Project Engineer for the CZ Crystal Growing Department to oversee engineering projects from concept through delivery, including crystal growing, cropping, slicing, slug preparation, and testing. You will ensure plans align with standards, safety, and quality while driving improvements and coordinating with stakeholders to meet timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with 10+ years of experience.
Experience in CZ crystal growth, ingot processing, slicing, slug preparation, and testing operations.
Willingness to travel internationally to collaborate with suppliers and align equipment design with project goals.

Responsibilities

Create detailed project plans with scope, goals, deliverables, resources, timelines, and budgets.
Bridge design and implementation teams to meet technical specs and project requirements.
Manage project budget, track expenses, and ensure milestones and on-time delivery.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality guidelines; provide technical guidance throughout the lifecycle.
