CTL Engineering is hiring a Project Engineer | Construction Services for roadway/ODOT projects.

We provide civil/site design, land surveying, environmental, geotechnical, construction administration & inspection, accident reconstruction, roofing/building envelope, A/V system design, troubleshooting & installation, transportation design (bridge/roadway), and specialized testing services to the construction industry.

We are looking for a Construction Project Engineer who will play a key role in construction administration, inspection services, and testing for state (ODOT), county, and local clients. You’ll oversee projects in roadway/bridge, water/wastewater, aviation, commercial, municipal utility/infrastructure sectors, and vertical (building) construction projects. The role involves all project stages, ensuring seamless integration and performance.

Responsibilities include:

1. Participating in all aspects of construction administration and inspection services.
2. Managing roadway/bridge and municipal utility projects.
3. Working with the Marketing Department on proposals.
4. Monitoring standards and specifications.
5. Reading and applying blueprints and construction documents.
6. Traveling to project sites for inspections.
7. Managing and supporting technicians and inspectors.
8. Overseeing on-site inspections and testing.
9. Verifying quantities and calculations.
10. Maintaining project records.
11. Communicating project status to clients.
12. Assisting in proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and budgets.
13. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
2. 2+ years of applicable experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
3. Construction material inspection/testing experience is a plus.
4. EI certification or PE licensure is a plus but not required.
5. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
