Job summary

The Related Group is seeking a Construction Manager to maintain and update the CPM schedule at the jobsite, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure timely submittals and shop drawings under the Project Manager and Superintendent.

The role requires strong communication, a solid understanding of construction processes, and a four-year degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent experience. Opportunities for professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of the construction industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes and standards.
• Four-year degree in construction management or engineering or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update a current CPM schedule at the jobsite.
• Coordinate subcontractors’ work schedules at the Project Superintendent’s direction.
• Schedule equipment and materials at the Project Superintendent’s direction.
• Ensure timeliness of all submittals and shop drawings.
• Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance with contract documents.
• Write RFIs as directed by the Project Superintendent.
• Participate in all on-site meetings including pre-trade, subcontractor and OAC meetings.
