Job summary

Underground Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Superintendent and Project Managers on a current project. You will interpret plans, track costs, manage communications, and help develop schedules and safety plans.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (or 5 years of project coordination field experience). Travel and driver’s license are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience substituting for degree (5 years) in project coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and specifications for project execution.
• Support Superintendent & Project Managers; assist in scheduling and cost tracking.
• Develop project estimates and gather vendor/subcontractor quotes.
• Maintain site safety plans and daily safety briefs.
