Powder River Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. in Wyoming seeks a Project Engineer to support planning, scheduling, budgeting, field cost analysis, and compliance.

You'll collaborate with Project Managers and field teams to gain exposure to every stage of a project and position yourself for long-term career advancement in the industry. This role offers a salary range of $79,000 to $95,000, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with location in Gillette and Sheridan, WY.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in commercial construction or related internships.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or equivalent mix of education and practical experience.
• Understanding of construction practices, blueprints, specifications, and project documentation.
• OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
• Procore, MSP and standard software tools experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking and compliance support.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and field teams to manage projects efficiently.
• Prepare submittals with timelines, material needs, and subcontractor details.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals and project records.
• Maintain organized documentation and generate status reports for clients and teams.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors for timely information flow.
• Review drawings for discrepancies and assist with field issue resolution.
• Assist with schedules, deadlines, and milestone tracking.
• Monitor expenses and invoices; support closeout activities and warranties.
