Path Construction in the Chicago, IL area seeks a Project Engineer to manage day-to-day activities of subcontractors, administer contracts, procure materials, and coordinate estimates and pay requests.

You will track RFIs, change orders, cost control, scheduling, submittals, and ensure quality while supporting safety programs. A construction management internship on diverse projects is preferred, with proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Formación

• Requires a 4-year degree in Building Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
• Construction management internship experience on large and/or small projects preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with project management software (SAGE 300 CRE).

Responsabilidades

• General Contract and Subcontract administration.
• Monitor and document jobsite safety and accident prevention.
• Construction Scheduling and cost tracking.
• Procurement and expediting of materials and equipment.
• Review and respond to RFIs, log and track.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; coordinate.
• Cost reporting and change order management; coordination meetings.
• Supervise subcontractors' field installations and QA.
• Negotiate change proposals and pricing.
