Job summary

Marnell Masonry, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project management team by coordinating, preparing, scheduling, and monitoring all construction documents and managing job submittals daily.

This role owns document accuracy, vendor coordination, submittal turnaround, and the permit process, keeping field crews, general contractors, and the estimating team working from current, approved information.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction plans and engineering documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Experience with Procore or similar PM platform.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain within 15 days.
• NV Dust card or ability to obtain prior to jobsite visits.
• Pass Driver Approval Process.
• Pass mandatory pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read/write in English and/or Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Scan, manage, and organize plans, specs, and project documents.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing, lead times, and data.
• Assist in preparing shop drawings and manuals.
• Manage all submittals and distribute approved docs to field.
• Plan and schedule pre-construction and PCT meetings.
• Learn contractor philosophies, formats, and presentation requirements.
• Obtain and track permits and schedule inspections.
• Maintain current plan revisions, RFIs, and ASIs for field use.
• Support Estimating with document control and takeoff data.
• Track submittals and deliveries to keep production on schedule.
• Maintain organized project records and correspondence.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by Project Manager.
