Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Engineer for the Bay Area, CA to support project teams with planning, coordination and problem solving. You will organize documentation, track RFI/submittals, and help manage budget, schedule, and quality control on active construction sites.

You will collaborate across subcontractors and field crews, maintain safety practices, and contribute to project estimating and procurement to keep projects on plan. Bachelor’s degree preferred; 1+ year experience valued.

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous internship, co-op, or employment experience is a plus
• Specific roles may require relocation

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination
• Procurement of construction materials
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks
• Coordination of subcontractors
• Survey and project layout
• Weekly pictures for progress reports
• Manage construction equipment
• Safety management
• Project estimating
