Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Engineer for the Seattle, WA area to join our growing construction team. You will support the project team with planning, document control, procurement, and field coordination to help deliver projects safely and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and may need relocation. You will work closely with subcontractors, perform QA/QC checks, and contribute to progress reporting and estimating activities as

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in project engineering or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Relocation may be required.
• Previous internship, co-op, or employment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Weekly pictures for progress reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Safety management.
• Project estimating.
