The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Engineer for the Sacramento, CA area. You will coordinate with the project team, manage document control, procurement, quality checks, and field layout to deliver safe, on-time results.

You bring 1+ year of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree (preferred), and the ability to relocate if required. This is a full-time on-site role with growth opportunities in a national contractor backed by a family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction project experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Document control and management of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and claims.
• Assist and support project team with daily coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials and subcontractor coordination.
• Quality control and assurance checks throughout the project.
• Survey and project layout; support weekly progress reporting.
