Job summary

Dick Anderson Construction is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our team in Helena, MT. You will manage paperwork, submittals, permits, and data for construction projects while coordinating with the Project Manager and accounting on billing and cost control.

Responsibilities include material coordination, timecard review, cost projections, and maintaining drawings and specifications. A proactive communicator with strong organizational skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in construction or project engineering.
• Proficiency with construction-related software and computer applications.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project submittals, schedules, material lists, and subcontractor details.
• Obtain necessary project permits and coordinate material requirements.
• Review and code timecards; maintain project files and correspondence.
• Track quantities, assist in cost projections, and support billing with PM and accounting.
• Verify subcontractor payments and maintain updated drawings and specs.
