Job summary

McShane Construction Company is seeking a Project Engineer to help deliver high-quality multi-family, industrial, and commercial projects while developing project management skills. You will become proficient in project controls, build knowledge of project financials, and develop skills to lead project meetings.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Internship experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, design consultants and trade partners.
• Fully proficient with construction management software including Salus, PlanGrid and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings to become familiar with project details and scope.
• Assist in bid tab evaluation by reviewing Subcontractor proposals and confirming scope.
• Assist in PQM process for all subcontractors.
• Create, maintain and manage all project RFIs, submittals, material procurement, drawings and changes; minutes, punch lists, and closeouts.
• Manage document review/approval for project controls.
