DPR Construction in Dallas, TX is seeking a SPW Construction Engineer to support self‑perform work on complex projects. You will collaborate with SPW crews, project management teams, and subcontractors to ensure scope requirements, schedules, and quality targets are met.
The role emphasizes reviewing drawings, tracking budgets, and maintaining thorough project documentation. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in construction engineering and OSHA 30 certification (preferred).

Supports the successful delivery of Self‑Perform Work (SPW) construction projects by applying working knowledge of project activities, methods, and leading practices in self‑perform operations. Collaborates closely with SPW crews, project management teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure SPW scope requirements, production schedules, and quality standards are consistently achieved. Contributes to efficient SPW execution by monitoring SPW crew productivity, tracking material usage, identifying both routine and non‑routine project issues, and retrieving actionable solutions to maintain progress. Enhances SPW team performance by sharing practical project knowledge and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives focused on basic SPW tasks and processes.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
2 - 4 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field required.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30‑Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
