Job summary

United Mechanical is seeking a Project Engineer to support commercial HVAC and Plumbing construction from planning through completion. You will work with Project Managers, Executives, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.

You will help coordinate with engineering, field operations, and estimating, gaining hands-on experience in mechanical construction while supporting profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Arch, Eng or related field.
• Proficiency with construction management software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Executives with project planning, coordination, and execution to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with site leadership to align field activities.
• Review planned vs actual costs and schedules; coordinate corrective action.
• Prepare project submittals and track approval processes to support timely execution.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and estimating teams to clarify project requirements before start.
• Assist with estimating, bidding, pricing, and customer communication to support project delivery.
