Job summary

Eastern Commercial in Duluth, GA is seeking a Project Engineer to support construction projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to keep work on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.

The ideal candidate demonstrates knowledge of construction methods, reads drawings and specs, and uses Procore and Bluebeam to manage documentation, reporting, and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience with commercial construction projects preferred.
• Knowledge of BIM, scheduling, cost estimating, and project controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to meet milestones.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and daily reports.
• Budget & Cost Control: assist in cost tracking, reviewing invoices, and procurement processes.
• Quality Assurance: support safety programs and site inspections.
• Subcontractor Management: coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Site Visits: conduct inspections and support field teams as needed.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication: ensure clear communication among all parties.
• Problem Solving: identify risks and propose effective solutions to keep projects on track.
• Technology Integration: use construction tech tools to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
