Job summary

Skyline Construction in Chicago seeks a Project Engineer to drive complex commercial interior projects to completion. You will join a team of construction professionals turning client visions into reality, using your technical and people skills to collaborate with a wide range of industry partners.

Qualifications include a four-year degree in construction management or related field, 1–2 years of construction experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, BlueBeam, Procore, PlanGrid and CAD, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/4-year degree in Construction Management or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and attend job walks
• Prepare and qualify bids
• Coordinate building access
• Prepare meeting minutes and weekly status reports
• Tracking and review of RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, samples, procurement and cost management
• Completion of project start-up and close-out documents
• Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with daily management of construction projects
