Job summary

EGC Construction is seeking a Project Engineer in Newport, KY to support site managers on commercial projects. Ideal candidate has 1–3 years of construction experience and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

You will help with LEAN planning, scheduling, cost management, and QA/QC, working closely with stakeholders and trades to deliver on-time, safe projects. EGC offers a collaborative environment, opportunities for growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of construction experience (including internships and co-ops).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Good organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work non‑traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Support our Zero‑Injury Safety Program
• Provide site and building layout.
• Coordinate shop drawing and submittal review process
• Support built‑in quality using our three‑phase quality control process.
• Help support and coordinate scheduled construction activities.
• Expedite building components & materials to maintain schedule.
• Coordinate change order management process
• Provide document control and reporting.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
