Job summary

EGC Construction in Newport, KY seeks a Project Manager with commercial or industrial experience to lead complex, multi‑discipline construction projects from initial scope through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget targets are met.

You will own project planning, scheduling, cost management and vendor coordination, collaborate with owners, designers and subcontractors, and drive Lean planning and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
• Experience managing self-performed trades is a plus.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage owner, designer, subcontractor and vendor relationships.
• Drive daily commitment to Zero Injury Safety Program.
• Manage project schedule, establish budget and control costs.
• Implement the Quality Leadership System.
• Establish and maintain contact with subcontractors to ensure smooth contract awarding.
• Conduct/lead Project Meetings.
• Create project-specific controls, monitor and report to stakeholders.
• Perform other duties and take on other responsibilities as required.
