Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to manage technical activities on assigned projects. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering work, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, while serving as the primary liaison with the client and project team.

The role requires a BSCE (ABET) with 5+ years in land development, and a Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain one in the job location. Strong leadership and communication are essential, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BSCE from ABET accredited college or university.
• Five or more years of engineering experience related to Land Development Projects.
• Registered and active P.E., or ability to obtain P.E. license in the state of employment.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering work on assigned projects.
• Act as the main point of contact with the client’s designated representative and project team.
• Lead a project team including E.I.T.’s, CAD Designers, Technicians, Sub-consultants and Contractors.
• Coordinate Construction Phase Services including site visits, submittal reviews and pay applications.
• Travel overnight as required.
