Job summary

MSA Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee electrical engineering projects from conception to completion across multiple Wisconsin offices including Baraboo and Madison.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering or related field.
• Four years of relevant post-graduate mechanical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
• Proficiency with digital tools such as GIS, BIM, or Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects to ensure completion per contract; review and sign documents; communicate with staff, contractors and clients.
• Communicate professionally with clients and contractors to build ongoing business relationships.
• Perform engineering calculations for analysis, study, and design of project aspects.
• Utilize GIS, BIM and other electronic tools for project analysis, study and design.
• Assist in creating cost estimates for projects.
• Instruct technicians on drafting for the projects you design.
• Conduct field investigations or inspections using specialized equipment.
