Job summary

Cohere Beauty, Inc. in Omaha, NE seeks a Project Engineer to drive capital projects and reliability improvements in a fast-paced CDMO environment, partnering with Operations, Maintenance, and R&D to enhance facility performance.

You will lead projects from concept through implementation, manage CAPEX, and champion safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This role requires a BS in engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or related environments.
• Experience leading CAPEX projects and budget management.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept to production.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, energy efficiency, productivity, and costs.
• Lead engineering studies, support risk assessments, and process improvements.
• Support continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Develop engineering solutions to enable future growth.
• Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness across facilities.
• Partner with Operations to reduce downtime and increase throughput.
• Apply root cause analysis to equipment and facility issues.
• Ensure safety, environmental, regulatory compliance.
• Communicate status and risks to senior leadership.
• Maintain engineering docs and project records.
