Job summary

OxyChem is seeking a Graduate Engineer for the Ludington Site to lead design, procurement, and installation of capital projects with minimal supervision and high technical expertise. The role requires coordinating with Operations, Process Engineering, Finance, Environmental, Purchasing, and Maintenance to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The incumbent will develop cost estimates, schedules, and cost controls while ensuring compliance with OxyChem, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory

Qualifications

Demonstrated engineering competence within engineering discipline.
Ability to manage complex projects and coordinate with multiple teams.
Commitment to safety programs and FDA/HESS guidelines.

Responsibilities

Manages the design, procurement, and installation of the Ludington Site’s capital projects within assigned scope.
Directs the efforts of other engineers and designer/drafters toward completion of assigned projects.
Maintains close relationship with Operations, Process Engineering, Finance, Environmental, Purchasing, and Maintenance.
Provides accurate cost estimates, spending projections and cost control on assigned projects.
Coordinates information flow among engineers, designers, and Ludington Site staff toward full project implementation.
Represents the department and company in dealings with government agencies and suppliers on engineering matters.
