Jacobs is seeking a driven Project Engineer focused on healthcare projects in Austin, TX. You will manage site development, design coordination, and regulatory compliance from ground up, overseeing contractors and ensuring high-quality work with safety as a priority.
You will support the Project Manager by developing and maintaining project cost/change controls, budgets, and change order estimates. Expect to work on multiple fast-moving and longer-term projects in a client-centric environment.

We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused Project Engineer to grow with our team. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who takes ownership, anticipates project needs, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques.
As a Project Engineer on our team in Austin, TX, you’ll have an opportunity to work on managing site development, design coordination, and regulatory compliance from the ground up. Key focus areas include medical facility design, regulatory compliance, and construction. Based at a client site, you will oversee that all work completed by contractors and consultants is of the highest quality with safety being our highest priority. You will also provide support to the Project Manager by developing and maintaining project cost/change controls, project budget, and change order estimates/negotiations. Through this role you will have the opportunity to work on multiple fast-moving projects and larger, long-scheduled projects.

The base salary range for this position is $91,400.00 to $125,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
