Job summary

Leopardo Construction seeks a Project Engineer to support the project management team in downtown Chicago. You will assist Estimating, Project Management and Field Operations in planning, directing and coordinating activities to meet goals, while gaining exposure to all facets of construction.

This role offers structured training with rotational learning plans to prepare for advancement to estimator, project manager, or superintendent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or architecture related fields or equivalent training/experience.
• Understanding of scheduling software, financial concepts and ability to read blueprints.
• Familiarity with digital model navigation and BIM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support project management in planning, directing and coordinating project activities.
• Assist Estimating with bid strategies, budgets, quantity take-offs and RFIs.
• Support Field Operations with safety oversight, logs and subcontractor coordination.
• Assist in LEED and BIM documentation and deliverables.
• Prepare logs, meeting minutes and change orders; track subcontractor progress and payments.
