What are we looking for?

This Project Engineer role involves performing testing and evaluation on products according to U.S., Canadian, and international safety standards, writing reports, and communicating with clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting product evaluations for compliance with standards, including reading codes, understanding schematics, validating project scope, and testing products.
• Developing test plans, setting up and operating testing equipment, and documenting results.
• Handling samples, providing quotes, supporting sales, and communicating test results to clients.
• Providing expertise in specific product categories and mentoring junior staff.
• Performing design reviews and other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2 years related experience.
• Knowledge of international safety standards (ANSI, CSA, UL, EN, IEC).
• Project management skills, proficiency with MS Office, and ability to travel up to 25%.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with specific standards such as UL/CSA/EN/IEC 61010, 62368-1, etc.
