Job summary

Lam Research in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Project Engineer to drive the design and development of etch and deposition related offerings. You will lead cross-functional teams and manage engineering projects from concept through delivery.

You’ll apply your CAD/PLM experience, data analysis, and AI/ML awareness to optimize processes, documentation, and lifecycle excellence within a collaborative, on-site flexible work model.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related engineering experience or MS with 2+ years.
• Experience with Model Based Definition (MBD) and BOM/TDPS.
• Strong PLM knowledge and processes.
• Proficient Excel; VBA/SQL/JMP/QA tools is a plus.
• Experience with C++, Python, SQL, Git/GitHub, REST API is recommended.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with NX 10+ and large assemblies is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to drive engineering projects on time and budget.
• Support Etch AI initiatives from development through release.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and training materials.
• Create evaluation methods to measure process strengths and improvement.
• Present project plans to senior management and secure buy-in.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align requirements and functionality.
