Job summary

Moog is hiring a Project Engineer to focus on production programs for hydraulic actuators and electromechanical actuators, reporting to a manager in Site Engineering. The role is onsite in Chatsworth, CA with a 9/80 schedule option.

Responsibilities include proposal support, design reviews, qualification, and production of hardware, plus development of test programs and comprehensive documentation. Requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, math, science, or tech.
• 5+ years in design/development engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to new product requirements with customers and sales.
• Validate solutions with trade studies and analyses.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and technical volumes.
• Be a key team member in a creative, independent group.
• Create reliable designs via comprehensive test programs.
• Document designs, analyses, and test results with reports.
