Job summary

Moog Inc. in Chatsworth, CA is hiring a Project Engineer to focus on production programs for hydraulic and electromechanical actuators. You will guide product delivery through the lifecycle, supporting proposals, kickoff, design reviews, qualification and production.

Reporting to a Engineering manager, this onsite role offers a 9/80 schedule option. Qualifications include a STEM degree and 5+ years in design/development engineering, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Math, Science or Technology.
• 5+ years of professional design/development engineering experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of new product requirements with customers and sales.
• Validate conceptual solutions through trade studies and analyses.
• Prepare successful proposal designs, cost estimates, and technical volumes.
• Work as part of a team of independent, creative engineers.
• Create reliable designs via a thorough experimental development test program.
• Document designs, analyses and test results with clear reports.
