Job summary

Synerfac Technical Staffing is seeking an experienced design and engineering professional in Winston-Salem, NC for a civil engineering and land development role. The position is flexible on level, from senior designer to project manager, with real room to grow as the company expands.

Responsibilities include leading or contributing to site, utility, and grading plans across project phases, developing utility layouts and storm drainage designs using Civil 3D, and mentoring junior team members

Qualifications

• Ability to lead or contribute to civil/site design across project phases.
• Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies and clients.
• Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and utility layouts.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to site, utility, and grading plans across all phases of a project.
• Develop utility layouts, grading plans, and storm drainage designs using Civil 3D.
• Set up and manage construction drawing plan sets, incorporating redlines and maintaining documentation.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to resolve review comments and keep projects moving forward.
• Manage day-to-day project execution, working with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning as responsibilities grow.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company on site visits.
